      2021 GMC Canyon V6
      The Issue Is:
On Christmas Day I drove bout an 30 minute drive, exited the freeway drove about two blocks
the truck cuts off, Truck is on but no gas acceleration. All I could do was coast to an stop. (No traffic)
Turns truck off, restart start with no problem. Visit family just ahead.

Leave family home drive back about 30mins drive), after a few turns truck cuts off again with traffic in the rear.
I immediately turn on hazards light and wave car to go around to avoid crash. Coast to an stop. Cut truck off, restart no problem.
3 minutes into drive truck cuts off again. Safely makes it home only 2 minutes away. Cuts off in driveway.

I go into dealership first thing on the 26th, No appointment, Explains problem to Rep. She writes paperwork, I sit in waiting room.
After about an hour Rep tells me the tech could not find anything, no codes nor could he reduplicate the problem. When can I come back because they need more time. Let her know when I can schedule. I leave going home the truck cuts off again while driving. I texted the Rep letting her know the truck stops again. I inform her I could be there Monday morning but will need a loaner car. I need to be at work for 2pm. She texts back no loaner car available but will check with rental and let me know.

I didn’t drive the truck on Sunday but I researched the issue online and found plenty of information. I’m not the first.

So I get up on Monday, I have the windows tinted on the Truck, drive back home, pull into my driveway attempt to turn the truck off.
The key will not turn to release. Stuck between accessory mode and start. The truck won’t start but can’t cut fully off. So now another issue.
After about 10 minutes, closing the door, smashing the brakes, turning the steering wheel, the key release. Only to repeat the process after putting the key back in. After the third time able to start the truck I drove straight to the dealership. Explained to the Rep the vehicle is unsafe and unpredictable. The Rep wrote up the paperwork and inform me she still didn’t have any loaner cars but would check with rental services.
I informed her I needed to be at work at 2pm. She tells me she could have Uber take me home or work. Uber comes, picks me up, halfway into the trip Enterprise calls me to let me know they have a vehicle for me, Uber driver takes me to Enterprise next to GMC.

Rep texts me today the 29th, could I come in today. I head to GMC Service, turns in the rental, but the Rep asks for my ID and insurance, I’m like okay,
only to find out I was NOT there to pick up my truck. I was needed there to switch to GMC service vehicle because the techs still can’t find anything wrong nor able to reduplicate any issues. They need more time. Again I researched the problems. Information is all over the web. “GMC key stuck in ignition” “GMC” Canyon shut down while driving”. I gave the Rep print outs to give to the tech about finding on “Shut downs”

I traded in 2015 GMC Canyon. No problems, Excellent condition, low mileage. Low balled on the trade value. Now this.
