ParticipantPut order in on 03/03/2022. What is the real wait time from order to delivery on those of you that have received your order? Just looking for some kind of perspective on waiting time.

I can only speak of my situation. My husband and I placed our factory order Feb 5 for a 2022 Chevy Silverado it wasn’t picked up by Gm so we he had to reorder for the 2023 MY. I belong to a FB pages 2022+/2023 Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra. There’s many members who can answer your question. -

ParticipantI ordered a 2023 2500hd Duramax 6/25. It was built and is in transit. Now that is the 64 million dollar question, getting it from Flint to my dealer. I have no answer.

ParticipantIn April 2022 I bought a 3500hd duramax LTZ that the dealer had already ordered, it was built in Oshawa, Ontario the middle of May. It was labelled in transit shortly after that. It arrived and I picked it up 8-8-22.

ParticipantThank you seems their is no rhyme or reason for any thing order related! I’m still waiting for a build week date! I guess they figure you’ll get it when you get it! One person on here said it took a year to get his diesel. But who knows?

ParticipantLike I’ve said on this forum, for me, the dealer made the difference. Your miles
ahead if you can make sure they have an allocation for what your ordering.
Check on Thursday or Friday. But delivery is another story. From forums I’ve read, last month they made some headway in shipping. Seems like they finally made it a priority. -

ParticipantI have to say this experience of buying a Truck from GM has been the most difficult process in my lifetime.
I’ve gone from a 21 to 22 and currently at 1100 on a 23 Silverado Trail Boss 6.2 ..Dealer says no alocations..
Too many constraints..!
Things wouldn’t be so bad if i had a Truck but i sold it in January with anticipation of a new Chevy…lol Yep laughs on me..
And your right about the customer service.. There Is absolutely NONE!
I’ve written Emails to everyone i could Never heard back from anyone…lol
Yep from the top down…lol Yep laughs on me !
Well i know some of you got your Truck. Congrats!
And some of you didn’t…Sorry about your luck…! -

ParticipantSGarcia: As mentioned, I think you need to find a new dealer. I’m working with the largest dealer in CO and it’s been painful, but your case does not seem right. Ordered in January knowing they weren’t taking orders until February. Dealer got back to me regarding a constraint on my order which was the side steps and I told him to go ahead without. Built end of May (looks like they built all the LT Trail Boss orders together). Sat until August 1 waiting for a chip, then was loaded on a train and I expect delivery any day now. Well worth your while to get to a large dealer with more allocations.

I wish there was a larger Dealer in Central Maine.!
But there is not…It seems that GM doesn’t care about the little guys… -

ParticipantScottnwheeze is right. I got movement off off 1100 in less than a week from the largest dealer in Ar. When it was ordered it was at 1100. Had one ordered on April 1 until June 24 and it never moved off 1100 from a little small town dealer.

ParticipantOrdered mine on Nov 6, 2021 and they had to change the order to a 2023 a couple weeks ago!!
I started to wonder what would make a difference. I don’t currently own a truck and I was waiting for it to pull a camping trailer for vacation which is now totally off for this season!
Anyway back to what could make a difference, I wonder…I’m in Canada, I ordered from my dealer in a 12,000 people town, I wanted an standard cab/8ft box…maybe that is all part of the problem!
So discouraging!! -

ParticipantYou might be right I ordered one on 03 03 2022 regular cab with an eight foot bed! In red a work truck 2.7 turbo! Accepted the order to build but no date for that either! Took them 18 weeks to accept build order! I truly think they have no clue to what’s going on! At this rate it could take a year! Good luck my friend!

ParticipantI ordered a 2022 2500 HD at the end of February. Not sure exactly when it was produced but it was slated for the first week in May. Started getting emails from Chevy congratulating me on my purchase in June but had no truck. Found out it was in transit sometime in July and as of last week was told it should be on the dealer’s lot this week. We will see if that holds true but that is what I was told.
