Tried to get directions to a local public ice skating rink – Address 2000 Scottsville-Chili Road, Scottsville, NY. The GM GPS did not recognize a “Scottsville-Chili Road” in Scottsville NY. This Skating Rink has been open for at least 20 years, but is not listed among POI’s. My spouse who experienced this gave up and went home, missing a good hockey game!! This road is also NY State route 386. Later we tried “SR 386” for “State Route”. Didn’t work. Finally put in just “386”. GPS listed road as “386 RT-“, and we finally got directions. Also the GPS’ on-screen map of the area shows this road as “Scottsville-Chili Road”, yet it is not recognized as a destination component! Very frustrating and un-user-friendly! Not a problem for my Lexus GPS….. Anyone else have similar issues w/Buick GPS?
