I am trying to start a new thread in GMS but wants a title first. Either I’m doing it wrong or not working.

    • #48059

@rwbernie and @anonymous Are you starting a new thread in the forum? If so, you need to give it a title.

Let me know if that makes sense guys.

I have the same issue posting a new topic in the Chevy forum. When I type something in the box and hit submit it says I need to give it a title…how do I do that? Am I doing something wrong?

I have tried to post in Chevrolet for 4 days and when I hit submit it says I must title the topic but there is no place to do this.
      What’s the problem????????????????????????

I am also trying to post a new Thread in the Chevy section and it asks for a “Title”. There is no place to list a “Title” in or near the box provided for “New Threads”

Same problem here in the Chevrolet forum. It won’t let me enter a subject line.

just posted a forum but cant find it

    • #50830

For those who were having trouble starting a new thread in the forum due to the title field missing: this is now fixed, and you should see a box for a thread title.

Please let me know in a reply to this thread if you run into subsequent problems, and thank you for your patience.

    • #50833

@drparker21 It doesn’t look like you created a topic… would you mind trying again, please?

    • #50973

@drparker21 After reviewing our systems in more detail, we don’t see any topics started by you. Could you please try again?

Why can’t I post a blog of any kind

    • #51303

@moozer45 Not quite sure what you mean by that.

A “blog” is a website, such as http://www.gmauthority.com.

On the front page of the blog, there are blog posts (articles) written by authors. That’s a functionality limited to authors.

Then there’s the forum — where we are now. In the forum are topics (we’re in a topic now) and replies (what I am writing right now gets posted). It seems that you have no issues posting a reply (since you just replied to this topic above), so do you mean you’re having an issue starting a new topic? Let me know and I’ll do my best to help!
