Hi all, This is for anyone who is ordering a new Chevrolet or GMC truck. I had recently got my truck in April with power door locks, but when I went to lock the truck, the the tailgate stood unlocked. I took it to the dealership, and they told me that all of the new trucks come with the manual tailgates… Unless you order the Multi Flex, or the Easy Lift tailgates. If you are ordering… Check what is on your Build Sheets. The Dealerships are instructed not to install the locks as an after fact. These trucks have a harness that only run the backup camera, so you would have to get a different tailgate harness, and wires would have to be run to the cab which would void the warranty… Just figured I’d give folks a “Head’s Up”
