In February 2022 I purchased a 2020 Sierra 2500 Denali. I took delivery even though the dealership said the front sensor chip needed to be ordered and GM was expected to have them in by August of 2022.
Its now April of 2023. Nothing from GM on this topic. The frustration level is high as I paid $70k for the vehicle trusting their word that they would have the chip by August 2022. Calls to the dealership say that its in the hands of GM and when you call GM they say to speak to your dealership. All the while, GM has been selling 2023 trucks to customers with all the chips in them. They had no problem taking my money in February 2022 and due to the lack of communication with customers and the pointless finger pointing, I get the distinct impression that GM does not care about its customers.
Have others experienced this? What, if any, has been your recourse or resolution?Also, I would love for a credible GM representative to respond to this. And please no boiler plate responses.

Why not just share where I should look? Or can I take my VIN to the dealership and have them look it up? Unless you have access to GMC information that is not publicly available.

alpaso, I looked up your VIN and yes you have a retrofit coming however they havent gotten to you yet. Hang in there, they getting to these as fast as they can

Greg, sorry I didnt get back right away however I ran your VIN and as your know you have park Assist coming but it hasnt come up in what GM calls the VSS. You are in line but just not to you yet
