007, you truck can get the retrofit. Call your dealership and make the appointment

Rowland and Gap, your trucks as you already know are listed for the retrofit however that havent come up the list yet. Hang in there, its coming.

My 22 came up for park assist retro but parts are once again ending on backorder. Had appointment last week to have it done only to be told parts didn’t come in. They said they are coming in in batches of 12 -15 then backordered again.

Parts Man 1. I’ve had my refresh Silverado rst for over a year now and still haven’t heard anything about my rear park assist. My heated seats and steering wheel were done back in February. Here’s the last 8 digits of my vin. NZ519001. Thank you for your help

There was an article on this site that the 2022 1500 refresh part assist retro has started. That was Jul 18th if I recall. I have been checking the GM recall site but nothing to date.

My VIN came up for the rear part assist. NG542237

I contacted my dealer. There response is below.

Does GM just send the part when available or should they be ordering it an wait. I know about back orders an the strike but sounds like my dealer is just going wait till something comes in that applies.

‘That particular part was on national restriction before the strike, so it may be a while coming in, but I let parts know to save one for you when they do. The dealerships are only getting a couple at a time when they ARE sending them out. When we have one available for your vehicle, we will definitely give you a call!‘

I called a dealer closer to me. They ordered the part and said when it comes in they will contact me. They said it might be awhile given the strike but a least they are responsive. Switching dealerships for warranty work going forward.

GM called me today. They confirmed the part is ordered. They said the 2nd dealer did it right by ordering the part.
