2005 Colorado extended cab 3.5l
Check engine light and code p0455 is on. No smell of gas. At any gas station when i fill the tank all the way the nozzle clicks off and then immediately about a pint of gas spits back out. I read that it could be the vent valve solenoid being stuck but i dont understand why it would only cause a spill at the end of filling. Thoughts?
I removed the charcoal canister and blew through it and it doesnt seem clogged. I am replacing the vent valve solenoid, the filler neck, and gas cap tomorrow. What do you think my next step should be if those things dont work?
Thank you,
Michael
