I have a 2004 GMC Sierra 1500. It is the 5.3L. A couple days ago the check engine light came on with the code p0135. I replaced the o2 sensor 1 in bank 1 and checked the fuses. Still have the check engine light on the dash. Any ideas on what else it could be?
I’m assuming you’ve tried to reset the code after changing out the part you replaced?
Some codes require a resetting to clear the code is what I’ve learned.
I hope things are fixed by now.
We’re about to replace the o2 sensors as well after it the Sierra 1500 came back from the shop for the installation of the new set of tires from 4Wheelonline. Hope it will clear the P0135 code after the reset.
