Opinions on refreshed models delivered? Hoping this thread will be a little lighter than the ones where all of us complained and barked about not getting our trucks. Some are rightfully so complaining but then there are others who only ordered a couple months ago thinking they should have gotten theirs by now.
Myself I waited 14 months, three weeks, and four days and along the way actually ordered three times before getting an actual allocation. March of 2021 ordered a High Country but never got allocation, December of 21 ordered a refreshed High Country and waited until March of 22 to get allocation but tech package was constrained so I changed to an LTZ where I could get the tech package and added every other option I was lacking from the HC. Basically, I have a HC without the badging.
Now to the truck, it got built six weeks after allocation and took about six more weeks in transportation. I feel lucky it got built in Ft. Wayne so maybe that cut down on some transport time. Truck got delivered to dealer last Friday the 10th of June. Picked it up Tuesday June 14th. I got the 3.0 Duramax. Be prepared to spend some time learning about all the bells and whistles. My dealer spent an hour with me and did the best he could but two days later I know I have lots more to learn. It is a beautiful truck and rides like a dream and handles very well. The only retro I have is the front and rear park assist, that’s ok one less thing to digest right away. The LKA and surround cameras are fantastic, I especially like the rear view mirror in camera mode. How about any of you that have taken delivery? What are your opinions?
