MyLink is now called RemoteLink… I know the GM Authority crew here posted an article earlier this year on the GMA blog that OnStar was considering making a version of the app for Blackberry and Windows Phone devices… other than that, we havent heard anything.

I’m sure it will come to Windows Phone eventually… but when, is another question.

Would like to 2nd the notion of having an app for my windows phone. It was more than a little disappointing find out my phone and car were not compatible.

Well okay, I can stream music, make calls, and voice text, but I would like to be able to unlock my car without having to call OnStar and sound like the dope I am.

For the unlock-by-yourself factor, the app is pretty cool. Also, being able to remote start my Nox from way inside my house on a cold winter day is nice too. That said, it’s S-L-O-W……….. Press a button on a the virtual remote and it’s seriously a full min before it gives you a popup confirming that the command completed successfully…

@Frank_P Yeah, it is slow. But considering that — to make it all happen — the signal is going over the (wireless) internet to OnStar and then travelling down via cell to the vehicle, it’s pretty impressive. I’m sure, though, that the speed will be improved over time.
