I don’t understand why no one at the dealership tech service has any idea as to why my OnStar module is not working, or even how to fix it. I made appt for service and got my truck back after two hours of waiting and it was still not working and they screwed up my dash logo or picture of type of Truck, I have heard of this happening to someone else.
Anyway, I am trying to find out if anyone out there knows of the part number and or name of the part that is needed to repair my OnStar Service. The OnStar Tec said to me it is probably the OnStar Module that needs replaced. That’s the device above the rear view mirror in the head liner, with the three buttons. The middle button is the OnStar connect button that lights up Green when it’s on. The button to the left is the SOS button and to the right is the speaker or call button.
If anyone has any idea about the part I am looking for, Please let me know. Thank you.
Give me the last 8 of your VIN and I’ll take a look for you
