ParticipantCan’t believe GM set this up and didn’t follow through. Anyone happy with this effort?

ParticipantGM has not set up this forum. This website and this forum are completely independent from any part of ownership by GM. As it says at the bottom of this very page:
“Please note that GM Authority is a product of Motrolix LLC and is not sponsored, owned, or in any other way condoned by General Motors Company, its brands, subsidiaries, or partners.”

ParticipantEven though they are not officially affiliated with this forum, since it is linked from their site, in my opinion it looks bad when they don’t address customer concerns and issues

KeymasterFolks – we are working on correcting the issues that have prevented us from delivering tracking information.
Hope you can understand the intricacies and coordination needed to track thousands of orders.
Tracking should be back up and running shortly.
Thank you for your patience.

ParticipantAlex, thanks for the response as it has been a very long time since any of those who have posted here have received any kind of response from a moderator or any explanation as to why they are encouraged to post here and then ignored.
At the risk of coming across as snarky, I have to say that the response did set of my BS detector. In six months the forum appears to have had something on the order of 400 or so requests. So, I’m not understanding the complexity of tracking thousands of orders when it’s only a handful each day. It doesn’t seem that complex to me, as any reasonable sized dealer is already doing that in the normal course of business.
My sense is that the promotion of this service stays up because it attracts clicks and ads, but it’s really not cool to be taking ad revenue under false pretenses.
