I know this engine is a wet sump and can be purchased as a crate engine using the Controller P/N 19420000 for an LS swap application. My questions:
1. Can I purchase this motor as a replacement for my current LS427/505 engine currently in my 2011 C6Z?
2. If so does it come with a dry sump set up? If not is there an issue putting a wet sump engine in my car?
3. Being this is going in a C6Z, can I use my e-38 PCM that’s already in the car?
the LS 427/570 is part# 19421004. the ECM part # is 19420000. It says in the performance catalogue that depending on which transmission you have, the ECM part number could differ. This engine is not offered in a dry sump setup. Whether or not this would be a direct fit or if the wet sump will cause issues, i cant answer that. hopefully this provides more information for you
