ParticipantI have had my Silverado now for a couple months and have a few items I really think need to rethought or get some feedback on by members which I’m doing wrong
1. The seat memory operation is different from my previous Silverado in that when the option is selected for use it operation is not functional. First I have programed seat positions for both driving and exiting with the specific FOB 1. The when I use the FOB to unlock the truck, when I open the door the seat immediately moves to the driving preset. Previously this operation worked only when you either put the key in the ignition or removed it for the exit position. The only advice I could get form the dealer was to not use this feature (turn it off) and press the button every time after getting in the vehicle, really this cannot be the way GM wanted it?
2. The programming for the screens on the dash seems to be odd that there is no default screen setting so that when you take a call or look at some other setting the screen does not go back to a default. Like the stereo screen after receiving a call. It requires you always having to touch the audio control icon and changing the display between the gauges manually, again this really does not seem well thought out.
Again, it maybe that I’m just not fully understanding the systems here but I have tried everything and would love to get some feedback. It seems to me these are obvious programming issues that were just not fully vetted prior to the new design release.

ParticipantThe new 2014 chevy silverado is a great spacious intelligent strong. Chevrolet raised the bar on full-size pickups and now you can choose between the 1500, 2500, and 3500 series. The 2014 model lets you decide which of the three engines you want to power your innovative and efficient pickup…….last weak i buy it……
Are you aware with New 2014 chevy silverado…..

ParticipantI think I’ll keep my 2013 I’m not digging the 14s I hate the interior for one electric power steering doesn’t sound like something that would last either and not being really able to order a truck the way I want is gay. They also need to up the power with the 6.0 in the HD trucks or make put the 6.2 I. The HD trucks as option I’ll take a 3500HD with 6.2 as for I’ll never by a half ton again
