I myself also own a 06 G6 with the 3.5 V6. Couple days ago I did went to the automatic car wash to wash the car and it was perfectly fine. My sister drove it at the same night, it was all okay. But the next day, the car won’t start. Looks to be like all the power are out. I have checked the battery, and there’s still plenty of juice in the battery. Not sure if it’s ignition (I don’t think it is). I did find that couple cables from the cable box was missing but it hasn’t been touched at all. Can anybody help?
Vic,
What do you mean by “I did find that couple cables from the cable box was missing but it hasn’t been touched at all.”
It could be a bad cell in the battery shorted out. I’ve had that happen suddenly on more than one occasion. Depending on the tester they use, it could read good or bad. It may depend on if the tester simulates a cranking load or not.
If the battery is completely ruled out, I wonder if a fuse for security/alarm is popped. Just a shot in the dark on that.
What I meant is that the battery is still good but then the thing is that I tried to start the car and there’s no clicking and all the powers are out
It’s June now ……………did you get it started?
I did. I took out the battery for several days and then I put it up again and then somehow it hostages starts. Not sure what’s the reason though
