Chevrolet Navigation system update?

      Several of our interstates have recently increased the speed limit. However, the navigation maps still show the old limits. Will this info automatically update and if so, how long does it usually take?

        Thanks for the link, but $163.94, with shipping, is a lot of money to spend after paying $795 for the navigation just two years ago.
        Too bad updates can’t be free for the first few years.

      Ok, so I DID update the navigation system at the beginning of June 2017. I didn’t travel until the end of June. The speed limit on the screen STILL showed 65 mph while the road signs said 70. The speed was changed over a year before. So, if the speed limit wasn’t updated, what else wasn’t? I followed the update instructions very carefully and received an “updated” message. So, did I just throw my money away? Now what?
