I have a iPhone 5 and after pairing with Chevy MyLink it drops and reconnects over and over again. I have reset the phone rebooted, deleted the Blue tooth connection and reconnected. I have restored my iPhone and still continue to have problems. I have asked Apple about this issue they say it is Chevy’s issue and my dealer says it’s Apple’s issue. Does anyone know?
First of all I’ve been told the iphone5 is probably the problem because it is first generation and if your vehicle is newer than your phone the my link software won’t interface.Whenever you are trying to interface two pieces of electronic hardware the driver software for both may or may not be compatible to interface.Try connecting a different brand of phone to the my link, maybe a friends phone,if theirs connects then your phone and it’s driver software are the issue.note:when posting issues with your vehicle please let us know which vehicle and year–thanks
I have a 2015 Silverado
