      Zah24,

New to this site and this is my first post. I went to a dealer today to see about ordering a 2024 Trail Boss LT. According to my salesman the order bank was not up. After reading your post it is apparently up and my sales guy was clueless.

This is my question. I always order vehicles but this is my first Chevy truck. I like lots of options so I always special order my vehicle. So we are putting in everything I want and we come to the option of Tow Mirrors. They are a must because I tow a 20 foot car trailer. So he pushes the button and to add tow mirrors it removes just a ton of options many having to do with towing! I love the truck but I can’t buy a truck that has standard mirrors which don’t allow me to see the sides of my trailer. All the sales guy could say was that it my be different when they get the order information in a few weeks.

Did you order tow mirrors by chance and keep thousands of dollars worth of options instead of them just being forced removal by the build site?

      Just4me,

As of June 15th 2023 dealers can place orders for 2024s.
They don’t have pricing yet, but they can submit orders
No i didn’t get the tow mirrors, but i did get the trailing package. Call the dealership and speak to the sales manager or the manager that does the ordering i didn’t have a problem with my order it’s built with everything I wanted. Hope this helps.

I went on chevy’s site and built the same truck. As soon as you select tow mirrors the whole package changed.
Maybe you have to sacrifice one to get the other but that’s totally up to you.

Thanks for the reply. I really like the truck but I can’t buy a tow vehicle that doesn’t have the tow mirrors. It just makes zero sense that selecting tow mirrors removes the following options I want:

      1. Protection Package
      2. Rear Park Assist’
      3. HD Surround Vision
      4. Trailer Side Blind Zone Alert
      5. Inside/Rear Trailer Camera Input
      6. LT Trail Boss Premium Package
      7. Rear Wheelhouse Liners
      8. Chevy Tec Spray-on Bedliner
      9. Rear Cross Traffic Braking’
      10.Rear Pedestrian Alert
      11.Safety Package
      12.Perimeter Lighting

So Chevy expects me to give up all that for $345.or tow mirrors? I don’t think I have ever seen anything more ignorant as far as custom building a truck. If this is how Chevy operates I can’t buy one of their trucks. I currently have a Ford but really didn’t want to buy another because of their quality problems and the many recalls. The Ford F150 is just not the truck it use to be. So I am left with Dodge, Toyota or Nilsson. None of which are favorites for me. Just so frustrating that I can’t buy the truck I want equipped the way I want it.

Yeah, that is alot to give up just for minors.
I don’t know why Chevy does what they do. I don’t think
      any of us knows.
      Take Care
