I am under the impression from the GM accessories dealer from my dealership here in Oregon that LED headlights in my new Cruze is just not an option, unless I dun mind water in the headlight housing. (Read; you have to leave the screw type cover off to let the wires run to the bulb adapter and/or the fan on the bulb to circulate air.)
Really, really sucks that there is no LED kit that comes stock, or as an addon. Traded in my ’15 Elantra, and I had LEDs in that car, no issues. Easy plug ‘n’ play. Now this car, I have to turn on the fog lamps to get about a 3rd of the light I’m used to.
Anyone found a way around this? Or know of an LED kit that’ll fit inside the housing? Rather not short out something, and void my warranty… after all, I got it with 5 miles on it. Haha.
Diode Dynamics SL1 9005 led are great for upgrading headlights.
