Since Sylvania doesn’t make any Ultras for our trucks I was searching for my options. What I found was the 9005 bulb has the same connector and mount base as the 9145 that’s used, they even look the same. You can get these in the Ultra and they are a high beam bulb. They are bright the stock 9145 bulb is 42 watts the Silverstar 9005 is 65 watts.
I would NOT and DO NOT recommend this for the 06 and up (round fog lights) because I was reading that they can burn/melt the lens on the fog lights.
They are now brighter than my headlights
I ordered me a set of H13ST for the headlights on ebay. Hopefully they balance it out some
