ParticipantHi All,
Super excited to get my 2025 Hummer EV Pickup. Downside is that I am experiencing some issues (a few I consider significant, one modestly annoying).1. 22 days in and GM/Onstar still have not been able to activate Super Cruise. GM blames OnStar. OnStar blames dealership. Dealership says it’s not them. OnStar says it’s the app. App says it’s OnStar + GM. Anyone have any contacts I can reach out to? I’d almost consider lemoning this vehicle if I am unable to use this option which i wanted to have considering the lengthy drives I have (all one-ways under 210 miles). OnStar has already reset my vehicle 3 times whereby I would select “Demo Mode or Register Mode” when I powered the vehicle on. I have spent 3+ hours on the phone with OnStar and another hour with “GMC EV Concierge” but mostly I go on endless hold and it hangs up.
2. The Ultium Level 2 PowerUp+ charger unit I installed at my house loses bluetooh connectivity essentially every day. The “EV Concierge” suggests that I simply reset my breaker every day as the power loss resets the charger and then, voila, I can see and control the charger on the app. On additional devices (other phones) I am unable to see/connect to the charger unless I hard powercycle via the breaker. This solution from GMC/OnStar seems illogical.
3. The cord that came with the hummer is Nema 14-50 (240v Hummer basis cord). I would like to purchase a converter to use a Nema 10-50r (240v Plug at Lodge). I’m seeking recommendations on very high quality adapater.
Please can someone advise where I should/can post these questions.
Thank you. I love my vehicle but these first few weeks have been minor annoyance evolving into medium griefs (yes, I know, first world problems).Thank you again for any replies and directions on where I can post the above questions as I seek help, guidance and assistance.
Matt

ParticipantProblem 1, I’d take it back your dealership service dept and tell them to fix it. This is a GM problem, not the dealership, not Onstar……..
Problem 2, if you the charger install through the GM program then it a GM problem again that the are shoving off on someone else. Its bs that you were told just reset your breaker everyday.
Problem 3, GM has a number of different cables at GMC.com, click on shopping and EV charging

ParticipantSpent a little time with our EV salesman
Problem 3 can be purchased at any RV store.
Problem 3. If we read your post correctly your phone works just fine but you cant get other phone connect so I assume you used the code on the charger to register these other phones to the charger. If that has been done then you need to find out why they are disconnecting, weak signal or some other reason.
I’ll try and get more information with problem one

ParticipantAfter going through the set up of a EV is possible that the salesman at your dealership didnt finish the setup of your system start with them and maybe get the Concierge on the phone and see if they can resolve problem one
