ParticipantI bought a 2014 Buick Enclave in May of 2014 and was using my iPhone 5 with Intellilink without any problems. Then one day in Sept. my car voice command would not recognize my contact names, depsite that the phone book and all contacts appear in the intellilink system. When I try to give a voice command such as “Call mom,” numbers pop up, as if I am voice commanding an actual phone number. I took it to the dealer, who had the car for 1 week and replaced my microphone, thinking that was the problem. However, it was not. 2 Service members showed me how their iphones work, however mine continues to not work. Therefore, I took the phone to the apple store, where the entire phone was erased to factory settings. Again, the intellilink is not recognizing my contact names and continues to show numbers. I paired my husband and 2 daughters iphones (2 of which are a iphone 6), it did not work. This is incredibly frustrating, as one of the reasons I purchased this car was the interface with iphone and intellilink, which is now not working.
Also, the Pandora Ap in the Intellilink is gray and does not allow me to activate it. Only way I can get it to work is by activating it on my phone and linking it with the bluetooth option in Intellilink.
It seems as if there is a communication problem with iPhone and Intellilink, perhaps only with AT&T, as the verizon phones seem to work ok. I would like to know if there are any other similar problems with other customers and if there is a solution. -

ParticipantYes, I also had an IPhone 5S with Sprint service for my 2014 Buick Enclave. As a Realtor I needed to depend on the Buick Intellilink, and wanted to consider it as a valuable working tool. Instead what I got was the most worthless piece of SHIT I have ever used. Voice commands just do NOT work. My car was back to the dealer for service concerning this problem several times. They can’t get it to work either. They referred me to GM. According to GM, I am the only person who has EVER reported such a problem. They suggested it was me for not understanding proper working procedures. Guess what, I know how to activate the voice command and speak!!!! I guess my servicing dealer doesn’t understand the proper way to get it to work either. I liked the Enclave so much, that I traded it for a 2015 to resolve the problem. It worked great at delivery time. Then within days back to the same old problem. Nobody seems to be able to explain or fix the problem. Then I considered changing phones to the iPhone 6 to resolve the problem. Now reading that others are having the same problem at least confirms the problem is not limited to just me. Getting a new phone doesn’t sound like the correct solution either. The new GM is just the same as the old GM. I spent and lost lots of $$$$$ being a loyal Buick owner, only to be frustrated again. I have a worthless system. Please anyone got any suggestions other then don’t buy a Buick with Intellilink? [email protected]
