I tried cleaning my intake valves on my 2022 Trail Boss 5.3, I removed the air box and the truck stalls out. Anybody know how to do this? I wanted to clean them before every oil change.
It sounds like you need to just put a good fuel additive in the tank…
Morning, I thought DFI engines , the gas doesn’t hit the valves and builds carbon . I would love to just add an additive.
Honestly havent seen a problem at our dealership. GM part number 88865595 is a great fuel system additive. Myself, I put some in every oil change and havent seen any problems
That’s great to hear. Thanks for the advice. That’s what I’m going to do. Hell of a lot easier too.
