Hello,
I have a 2021 Silverado RST that didn’t come with the front mounted camera. The GM part is 84690426. Can this be added onto my Silverado? I’d like to have it to help see my front approach.
I know when I enter my VIN on AcDelco (gmparts.com) it’ll say that the part isn’t compatible. I didn’t know if that’s because it wasn’t “born” with that part in the BOM, or if it’s because it truly can’t be installed. I’d also like to add in the mirror cameras at some point too, but wanted to start with this. The side mirror camera part numbers are (84898874 and 84898875)
Not sure if either of the 3 (front camera and side mirror cameras) are something that can be installed and added on or not.
It’d be great for added safety and to help with parking and blind spots.
