How to drain 2006 GMC Canyon pickup fuel tank

2006 GMC Canyon pickup and have water in tank, Can I just unhook the fuel line and blow out/drain the tank?

If its in the tank your not going to bow it out through the fuel lines. Not sure how much water you have but there are a bunch of products on the market that you can pour in the tank and they absorb water…
