According to gm it was shipped 10/17. Coming from Canada to Southern OH and confirmed that the car is in OH as of 11/5/12 but not at dealership. I want my car.
Having worked at a few dealerships, I think I know what’s going on here. Either the car wasn’t shipped and you’re tracking the wrong car (not likely) or the car is in OH but was damaged along the way… if this is the case, it’s probably sitting at a body shop somewhere in the state awaiting reparations.
Usually these are minor like a rock chip on the paint that occurred while it was on the truck/bed… I would call GM up and down on this one and ask them if this is the case.
Might even be there now or enroute. Also, the way some dealers operate a new vehicle is not considered ready for delivery until it is preped, i.e. cleaned up or as in the above post, repaired. The salesman might not know its on the lot till his manager tells him.
Im in texas…where are the 1LE camaros? I have looked in Waco, Austin and San Antonio for a total of 6 dearlerships! No salesperson or manager knows what im talking about…what is going on??

“1LE production
is only 3% of production as a start-up
restriction – so until this package is up
and running full speed, it’s going to be
a challenge getting an order placed.
Looks like produciton will start the
week of 9/24 – at least that’s when my
stock order will be built
