I just confirmed with the GMC chat service that my 2021 AT4 truck has been produced. Does anyone know how long (on average) it will take to get to California? I know with Covid, things may be delayed, but just want a ballpark of the number of weeks.
Good question without a good answer. It depends on a myriad of factors, like the plant actually releasing the vehicle to be shipped, followed by rail car availability, transportation without any issues, and then the availability and logistics of the vehicle carrier to bring the truck to the dealership.
There isn’t an average number that I’ve heard, but I have heard it being a few days in some cases, and also a few weeks in others. I know that’s probably not of much help, but it’s all we know at this point.
