Ordered a 2017 GMC Yukon Denali and have the order number.
Is there any way to check on the status?

The most reliable way is to go to http://www.gmc.com and initiate a “Chat” with a representative, and then give them your order number.

There is another option. Go to this Camaro site (link below), create an account and post up your order number and state. A fleet sales manager for a big Detroit dealer will give you an update. She does not care what the GM make, as long as its destined for a USA dealer, she will provide the info gladly. She did for my 2015 Sierra Denali. She cannot see Canadian orders.

She can only give you the current status, nothing more.
