ParticipantMy order number is QRXGZC ordered from Indiana. My dealer says my truck was to be transported last Friday (12/7/2012) It’s now Tuesday 4P.M. (12/11/2012). Still not at dealership. I guess my question is can anybody tell me my production code is now. And is there any way to trace the progress if it is on the road or estamate time of delivery? Dealer just says he’ll call when it arrives. I know I’m becoming a pain in the a$$, but I fell I’ve been left in the dark. But I do want to thank all of you that have been putting up with me and given me some neet web sites to check out!

ParticipantSam, it’s in the hands of the transport company. Your dealer has no control over where that transporter goes on the way to Lebanon. The dealer wants it to arrive just as much as you do, the salesman wants to get his commission just as badly as you want your truck.

ParticipantI guess my question is– has it even shipped yet? Dealer tells me it was shipped on Friday, but someone on here checked for me on Saturday and said it was still waiting for transportation (code 4B00). Someone on here said dually’s have to be loaded on transport truck last because of size. Which I would think would have to be unloaded 1st. With that assumption (yes I know what assumption means), How fast is the driver driving the 350 miles assuming dealer was right in saying it was shipped Friday. GM there has to be a better way. I ordered something on the web one time and after they notified me by e-mail it had been shipped they gave me a web site that showed a pic of the United States and showed a little truck and where it was on route to my house. I knew within 45 minutes of arival time. Now they provided this service with a profit of probally less than $100 profit. How much profit is GM making off of a $60,000 truck? Is customer servise becoming a thing of the past?

KeymasterSam — any way you can avoid starting a new discussion for this next time? Would have fit very well into the original thread:
