Okay so I really need some input or help here. As I was driving last week Sunday my vehicle started to act funny. The check engine light came on then the next thing I knew everything shut down. Thankfully it was at the bottom of a steep hill. Towed my Denali to my ex husbands house where it’s been sitting in his driveway since.
I hooked up the OBDll reader and the code read P0300 which says it’s a misfire.
It cranks over once in awhile but it stumbles and won’t stay running and when it runs it won’t stay running for more than 15 seconds. I’ve got it to start twice on Monday and when it started, it ran really rough. It’s like it’s not getting enough gas. We’ve ruled out the fuel pump because that was tested and the pressure read at 50 with the key turned to the on position and 58 when you crank it.
I don’t know what to do. I cannot afford to take it into a shop even though I’m a full time working mom. If someone could at least point me in the right direction I’d be forever greatful.
Thank you!

First of all before anyone can help we need to know what vehicle, what year and what engine.Typically multiple misfire indicates that you need a full tune up,spark plugs, wires etc.If you can’t remember the last time your vehicle had a tuneup then you need one.A tune up is step one to determining the problem, especially when it comes to a drivability issue.

My 2006 savana 2500 4.8 started doing that and i replaced the tps on the throttle body i was so excited because it had more power than when it was brand new then one week later wah wah wah wha.. Went downhill from there ive done tune up intakemanifold gasket and just aboit every sensor i can think of and still lean conditions .maf sensor new.map sensor new purge vent valve new. Crank sensor new..out of money and soon out of business with it being a service van. Live and learn. Should have listend to my dad and got a ford but i figured if the government likes them for drpendsbility cant go wrong.

Misfires are typically due to bad ignition components, plugs, wires, coil packs, also loose connections to those same components.how many miles on the vehicle?bad crank or cam sensor will also keep you from starting it.Have you ever replaced your fuel filter? a clogged filter can reduce fuel volume even if pressure is normal, a clogged filter also puts more load on a pump which will shorten its life. As far as the vehicle just shutting down, that could also be a bad ignition switch. Is the vehicle been fixed yet?
