Hello everyone,
I bought a 04 sunfire from someone and before I got the chance to get a spare car key I’ve lost the only key I had. I pulled the ignition switch out of the underside of the steering wheel and I used a pair of pliers to twist the ignition switch to start the car. This method is very unreliable however, as I only successfully started the car twice in about 30 tries. Most times when I start the car, a red car with a lock icon pops up and the engine shuts down. (Image: prnt.sc/ntnxay) Does anyone know of a better way to hotwire the car? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
