Been trying to sell our 2007 Aura XE for several weeks now. It’s rather baffling why it is taking so long and such lack of response.
Does anyone have any idea why this low interest? It’s a beautiful car, low miles, excellent condition, super clean. I’m priced within the ranges of other similar units. Below is copy of my ad. Any selling tips will be appreciated. I’ve been listed on Craigslist, also parked out on business sites in high traffic areas.
2007 Saturn Aura XE, 3.5L, V6, FWD, 87,000 miles. Excellent condition, garage kept, well maintained, all original, serviced exclusively at GM dealer. (GM continues full support for all Saturn vehicles, same platform as Chevy Malibu.) Brand new brakes and all service work up to date. Nice Continental DWS high-performance tires, good in dry, wet, and snow.
Very smooth, peppy engine yet gets very good fuel economy. 22City/30Hwy. Exterior is a beautiful Bronze, Interior is leather Cashmere Beige. XM Radio and OnStar equipped.
Now asking $7990.
I believe the price is set well.
To consider:
– GM made a lot of XR which were loaded with things like disk changers, sunroof and a 6 speed transmission. Are you competing with these? How many? What price?
– Are you missing exposure to buyers seeking these big Epsilon sedans by using Craigslist? Should you buy an ad on cars or autotrader? In example – I want to replace my G6 with a 2010 G6, I’m using these tools.
– Have you taken it to carmax or similar reseller for appraisal?
