I have a 2016 Sierra Denali ($63k) and I joined the list of dissatisfied customers that have this vehicle with this transmission shifting problem and are being told by the Dealer that that is the way the vehicle works.
I am calling on all GMC Sierra owners to join me to demand that GM pay attention to this issue and fix our vehicles. We are the consumer and we have the power to make the changes we need. Being told that the jerking shifting is the normal operation for this transmission is unacceptable and I will not accept this load of BS.
Lets join together and demand GM fix our vehicles.

Hi,
I ave a 2014 GMC Denali down here in Australia and have had the same problem as you. Take your Vehicle to a Dealership that know what they are doing and demand they do a Software update on your Transmission. Had mine done yesterday and fixed the problem completely.
