Spent the entire day yesterday trying to locate a dealer that will give me a strait answer regarding if they have any allocations available to order a new Z71 Suburban for me.
A local dealer that I trust, have all my 2015 Suburban service done there, said they had no allocations, been waiting on one allocation order since November. The salesman there suggested I call around to other dealers to see if they had any allocations. This dealership the salesman are salaried and not on sales commission.
Against my better judgement, I called another local Chevy dealer, they said they did so I went to chat. I finally got to admit they really did have any allocations available but that they’d take my order and deposit and put the order in the hopper! When I asked how long the wait would be they admitted they didn’t know. I told them they were wasting my time and got up and walked out.
No wonder Car Dealers/salesman have such a bad reputation.
Have reached out to other dealers basically the same ran around.
Too bad we can’t just order direct from the factory!
