There’s plenty of warning lights when I’m backing into a space but absolutely nothing when going forward (like one’s garage or public garages), Isn’t there Forward Parking Assist on a 2023 Bolt EUV? This morning I rolled up to the wall a half inch too much and now have my first scrape. Am I missing something? Is there something that needs to be turned on or added?

I just did a trade-repurchase for my new EUV but, in my old 2020 EV, I’d put it in reverse and then back into drive. That gave me the front camera until I reached a speed of 5 or 10 mph. I’m sure you could activate the front camera with the entertainment screen controls, without doing the R>D thing. So sorry about your scrape. The first on my EV was on my back bumper and I’m sure it was from the treads of an idiot’s motorcycle front tire when I was leaving a Kroger parking lot in 2021. I thought he was too close, but I didn’t feel the rub. But, it was just enough to scuff the clear coat.
