OK Chevy site says my truck in in transit.. Dealer called and reamed the GM rep today with me there, as its been in transit for a week. (14miles from the VDC to dealership) GM rep said the truck is on a 4dqh hold anybody know what that means? I cant find anything online about it and Chevy Chat was useless. They told me that “your truck is in transit at Wentzville MO”…………….grrrrrrrrrrrrrr ARHHHH “hair pulling”

order number is SMXKH6 VIN is 1GCGSBE36F1226005

If anybody here works for GM or has any way to find out why I cant get my truck I would be very grateful.

I understand exactly. I purchased a 2015 Z06 on a tuedday. My salesman heard my bank tell me the money was there. My salesman and sales manager both talked to my bank and knew the money was there. In friday afternoon 40 minutes from taking delivery i was finally able to even get in my new vette. I drove it 3 miles..my salesman said he never even drove one even though he stated he was an expert in corvvette, yea right. I being a good guy let him drive it back the 3 miles where he promptly stomped the gas to over 120mph not once but twice and in between he stomped the brakes. So much gor proper breakin. He passed 2 troopers at 120mph just befor the driveway. I figured he would get a ticket, nope. 40 minutes later i pulled out. After signing more paperwork. I shifted to 2d, went to shift to 3d and noticed i was already up to 70mph. I imediatly let off the gas but a trooper already had me at 72 he says. Not 15 seconds in my brand new Z06. He followed me for 5 miles while i did 1mph under the 45mph speed limit. When asked what i thouht i was doing i explained i just took delivery and i wasnt used to the peddle yet. I got a ficket. Aftrr over 50 years of not having any tickets, not even a break. I was speeding and pleaded guilty but the district attorney and judge both agreed that with my good driving record and after reading the circumstances the wrote me for a parking ticket. Good honest people. The kanagr for repairs at the dealership told me the troopers probablt thought i was the one doing 120 and got me for speeding. Lesson one DO NOT EVER LET ANYONE DRIVE YOUR NEW CAR, EXCEOT GOR A BEST FREIND AND ESPECIALLY NOT YOUR SALESMAN. anyway i have 2204 miles on Kate and even at speed limit, one hell of a car.

Chevy and GM must do something about lead time. I ordered my 2015 Chevy Colorado on March 17th 2015. March passed,April passed , May passed and now June is almost over and STILL NO TRUCK!!!! I think this will be the last GM product I ever order the the wait time is ridiculous. As a matter of fact I may even cancel the order and get a Toyota. I know THEY do NOT have such long wait times. I’m PISSED!!!!

      seadogs1,
Dude, you need to relax. You bought the hottest truck on the market. In Canada there is a one-year waiting list. Toyota can get you a truck the day you buy it because they are desperate to get them off their lots. The Colorado/Canyon has been outselling Toyota (and everyone else) in California since the day it went to market. If you buy the Toyota you are buying an inferior product and you will need to live with the fact that you are driving a lesser truck while somebody else has your better truck on which you bailed. That will suck badly. Myself, I would never want to be forced to live with that. The shame and humiliation, I am sure, would put even the most sane man around the bend.
