My 2006 Chevy Express 2500 makes a clicking sound when I try to start it cold. Sounds like low battery but on a volt check I get a reading of 12.8 volts. When the engine starts my dash voltmeter registers only 5 volts but after regeneration it’s up to 14 volts. Then for a while it will fluctuate between 14 & 12 Volts and on a long ride it will stay at 14 volts. Could this be just a loose ground to the engine or frame?
