If I change the stock exhaust system on my truck, will it lead to any kind of power issues or major difference in fuel consumption? I would like to install the Flo pro down pipe back systems (https://www.bcdiesel.ca/en/down-pipe-back-4-systems-3). Can somebody tell me which are the other good models? My vehicle is 2001 model GMC Duramax LB7. Thank you
Yes there may be a significant change in performance. Some would install a Superchip in order to compensate the air flow changes and it works. I believe http://4wheelonline.com/ is selling a bundle ( exhaust and chip) for Duramax you may want to check it out.
