Does anyone know what is happening with the availability to get the NACS adapters that were promised to be available?
Part no: 85090442
Not available yet
Should be available at the end of the month, $225.00
Have order them online from your manufacturer website. Dealers can not order them for you
I think it’s already on backorder. I just ordered the Vortex Plug from Lectron and it’s arriving tomorrow.

They are not on back order. Information below to order

I ordered a GM NACS adapter using the My Chevrolet app and received it in a week. I tested it today and there are some issues.
1. The Superstation cord is short, and I had to pull to within 6″ of the station structure to make it reach.
2. Once connected I was only getting a 29kw charging rate, which is about a 5th the rate of a EVGo 350kw stations.
I don’t know if the slower rate is due to the adapter or if Tesla stations recognize a non-Tesla vehicle and cut back on the rate of charge. I will keep it as an emergency backup but will not be using it for my regular charging routine.
I opted for the Lectron Vortex Plug when I saw GM’s was on backorder. So far so good. I’ve only used it twice but it’s seamless.
