What does it mean when the order status goes from in transit to delayed on an Equinox that was shown as built on 3/1?
I ran into the situation with my Equinox, purchased in January. The car was built & in transit as of December 18, 2021. Remember the Equinox is built in Mexico. The vehicle is brought to a port of entry. From there, my vehicle was placed on a transporter for delivery to the dealer. The problem came in with the transport company. There is a huge shortage of truck drivers, that it delayed my delivery by over 4 weeks. I took delivery on January 26, 2022.
I have a 2022 3500HD that was built on Nov 10th 2021 that I ordered in March of 2021 that has been sitting at the Flint Plant stuck in a transit status. It has been 5 months since it was built and over a year since it was ordered. Everyone I speak to on it tells me the same thing that I just have to wait.
