I have 2014 Silverado 1500 LT 4.3 Liter.
Every time I go over a bump or hit a pot hole my truck shuts off for a brief second and locks up my Power steering, My Service Stabilitrack notification shows on the dash, My Power locks unlock and relock and my display and radio reset. When it does this If I have my foot on the gas the transmission slips and I start revving like 6000 RPM. This is an intermittent problem and there isn’t any light or codes showing except the recorded history and all it shows is a U code saying my Module isn’t communicating.
I took it into the dealership they checked my grounds charged my battery and updated the software and as soon as I pulled out of the lot it happened again.
Any ideas guys? All I can think of is loose wiring, If it was my Transmission Module my truck wouldn’t be stalling as I’m driving and it wouldn’t reset itself right? I wouldn’t lose complete power because of it? I am guessing its whatever all these things are connected to that’s the problem??
Has this truck ever been in a wreck? If it has that would be the area to start looking for faulty wiring.
