Electrical Problem?

      Hello everyone,
I have a 2014 Chevy Malibu. Recently I’ve been having intermittent problems with my air system. When I turn my car on, sometimes the air control will not work. No air will blow out, no matter what setting I have it on (high, low, air conditioning, heat). The first time it happened, I pulled over and turned my car off and back on again and the air worked fine. Nothing happened for a couple months so I figured it was just a weird electrical one time thing. It keeps happening more frequently now. I was driving to lunch last week, the air wasn’t working, I just rolled down the windows because it was a nice day. Turned the car off, got lunch, returned and turned the car back on and it air continued to not work. Drove back to work, finished my shift and when I started my car the air worked fine.

Now I also have had a problem with my radio. The first cold day of the season (just under 40 degrees at 9 am) I had my car running for about 5 minutes. I went to change my volume on the radio and it was frozen. I twisted the knob, tried to change the station via the touch panel and also through my steering wheel, nothing happened. The radio was playing music from the station that was on the last time I had my car on. After a minute or so, the radio changed stations and the music went loud and soft. It seemed to be catching up to the buttons I had pressed to attempt to change the station. I assumed it was “frozen” as it was the first cold day of the season. Later that day after the temperature heated up to 70 degrees, it did the same thing.

I am not sure the two problems are related or not, but it seems like an electrical problem to me. I plan on taking the car in when I can but it could be another week or so.

Any ideas as to what is happening?
