I have a 2001 Chevy Tahoe with 247500 miles on it with original trans, engine everything but wheel hubs and fuel pump. I’ve heard gm will buy your vehicle back is that true?
Not likely……….
I don’t know why GM would ever want to buy a product they built years ago with high mileage from private hands. It doesn’t even make sense.
i kinda doubt it
If you put another million miles on top of that, you might have a chance. GM bought back some vehicles with over a million while back. Few years ago a guy tried this with his 92 Sierra that had 1,149,000 miles, all original motor never rebuild, and even valve covers never been unscrewed but had a new water pump and alternator, and 5th tranny, GM wasn’t interested.
250k is not “very high mileage” when it comes to GM cam-in-block engines. Props to keeping the original trans going though.
