I’ve asked now 3 times for the status of my truck, Order# VMSQ76 and have never gotten a response. Kinda frustrating, I can track an order from Amazon where I spent $6.99. Chevy takes me for 60K and I have to post to a forum to get an order update, or should I say Ignored.
Folks — first and foremost, please accept my apologies for your vehicle tracking requests not working.
What happened is that we lost our connection to track the vehicles, and are working on fixing that. It’s not a simple process by any means.
We are hoping to have it all up and running by tomorrow evening or Saturday, at the latest.
Again, my apologies.
Alex
@JohnnyBunz I feel the need to note that while you spent your money with GM, GM Authority has no relationship with them.
We are an independent company that is working hard on bringing GM owners and enthusiasts news, forums, information… including this tracking mechanism.
Please bear with us.
Cheers!
Alex
Thanks for the “Note” @AlexLuft. However, I must note myself, ALL of us on here would be aware of this issue if, perhaps, you would have posted about the interruption of service.. That being said, my first request for tracking was done weeks ago.. Before this “outage” took place. None of my posts (or many many others) have been answered (except for your notation).
@JohnnyBunz lets put that into perspective: the GM Authority vehicle tracking service is 1) in beta and 2) completely free.
And hey, did I mention that it’s FREE?
In any event, our order tracking mechanism is back online and your order will be tracked starting tomorrow.
