Just got off the phone with my dealer. They received confirmation yesterday that due to semiconductor shortages, there is a potential for “0%” completion of Denali Ultimate, AT4X, or Tech Package orders until June.

This is pretty bad news for GM and customers alike. If I were an active investor, I’d be shorting GM stock.

For those with orders, reach out to dealers and share the updates here.

      Thanks.

I know all about this. One year ago I placed an order for a 2021 High Country but it NEVER got slotted. Then in December of 21 I placed an order for a 22 High Country with the 3.0. This past week I got a call from my dealer saying the tech package was unavailable in the High Country until at least June. Ironically the tech package was available in the LTZ so we went ahead and configured an LTZ with all the options I was to get on the High Country. So basically I was able to order a High Country with the LTZ badge. Doesn’t make sense to me they will put the tech package in an LTZ but not the High Country but that’s what happened. So after one year to the day my order got accepted by GM to be built the week of April 11th.

I ordered a 3.0 Diesel Denali in late Jan, my dealer tells me they are constrained and may not even be a 2022 model. I switched my order to an AT4 which they tell my dealer they are accepting and scheduling diesel AT4 as we speak.
