Is there a resource that maintains a current listing of constraints for the Silverado HD? Reason I ask is that I’ve been waiting 8 weeks (I know… drop in the bucket) for my 2500 LT, Diesel, Crew Cab, Regular Bed to be accepted by Chevy. When I placed the order with my dealership, there were 6 ahead of me waiting on allocations. They were telling me all along that it was the Safety package on my build that was holding me up. Then, 2 weeks ago I was told that it was the multi-flex tailgate in addition to the Safety package that was holding me up. I had no problem removing the multi-flex tailgate, especially after reading that it will get dented if I’m using the bed step along with a ball hitch, and after doing so the Dealership told me I was at the top of the list… priority 1. I then read on GM authority early last week that the constraint on the safety package (front and rear park assist) had been lifted and I got my hopes up that my allocation would come through. Contacted the Dealership last Friday and was told that it was now the Convenience II package that was holding me up. I asked why they never mentioned the Convenience II package issue before, and they said that “it’s always been there”. I guess I have to wait, because if I can’t get the safety and convenience then there’s no sense in getting the truck from Chevy… but it brings me back to my original question…
Is there a resource that maintains a current listing of constraints for the Silverado HD?
Seems to me like I’m either getting the runaround, or the Dealership can’t keep track of constraints, or Chevy is doing a poor job of communicating with their dealerships… or all the above.

When I ordered mine from the biggest Chevy dealer in my state on June 24 I wanted leather. You know you have to pick a tailgate and then it makes you get the convenience 2 package which has the front and rear park assist. At that time those were on constraint. I had ordered from another dealer and it stayed at event code 1100 12 weeks. It’s all about the dealer. But to answer your question, I don’t know of one. Nobody can tell you anything, not gm chat or the dealer! At least for me that was the case.

Possible resource for you regarding changes to orders: go to https://www.gmfleetorderguide.com/. Click on model year and distribution updates, next click on division: Chevrolet Truck, GMC then click on model ordered ie. 2500 HD, 3500 HD; next click date range full model year and it will provide you all changes to order status. Hope this helps
