I have a 2017 High Country edition. Have had nothing but transmission problems others have had, slipping, surging at stops to name a few areas of concern. Went to one dealership that had “the best transmission” guy in the midwest. Had the truck 2 days and was even worse, and was told when I called back, everyone else has the same problem and GM is working on it and basically I was to live with the problems.
I took it to Beardmore Chevy in Bellevue, NE to have them look at it. They had it one day, got it back and couldn’t believe the difference. Now 99 percent of the problems are GONE. The explained what they did and am to come back after 1000 miles for a follow up. Just want to pass on to others with the problems on who to contact. There service department is beyond what I ever expected after all the problems I once had. Kevin in the service department is the kind of guy, with every problem is a solution.
So all that have transmission problems, there is hope.
