Does anyone find it odd that the mid level my link system in Malibu, Equinox has more features than my link system in Impala or Silverado. I find it odd that I can’t get fuel prices or movie times on my 2015 impala, but was on my 2013 Equinox….
Hey @tom21pa — those are indeed good observations.
This is because the systems are different in those vehicles:
– The Impala, Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban, etc. have a system called NGI (next-gen infotainment), while
– The Equinox and Malibu have the outgoing/last-gen system referred to as CCR (connect color/touch radio)
GM appears to be going forward and standardizing on the former.
