This happened 2 or 3 times on my 2014 Equinox. The center console for my link as well as the radio and gps shuts down. the only way to fix it is to stop the engine get out of the car and wait 5 minutes. Called onstar brought it to the dealer and left it overnight once already and bringing it back a second time. the dealer says he doesn’t get any codes for the radio, I say this could be a safety issue as bluetooth and gps shutdown when this happens. Dealer says its only an inconvenience. I am not a happy camper!

I have had the same thing happen to my wife’s 2014 Malibu w MyLink. Once in a while it freezes when placing a call, and the phone dialogue box is stuck over the radio screen. Turning off the radio doesn’t fix it, either. I will be taking it into the dealership this week. Kind of disappointed with that and the hard downshifting I feel going down long hills, kind of like regeneration but louder and banging.
